Welcome to MockExpert (the "Platform"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our AI-based interview preparation guides, mock interview services, and performance analysis reports (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Services

The Platform provides:

  • •AI Interview Guides: Generative AI-driven content to assist in interview preparation.
  • •AI Mock Interviews: Simulated interview sessions using AI agents via text and audio.
  • •Performance Analysis: Automated reports generated by AI models assessing user performance based on specific rubrics and metrics.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

  • •Age: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). By using the Service you confirm you are 18 or older.
  • •Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • •Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activities under your account.

3. AI Service Disclaimer and Limitations

Important — Please Read Carefully

  • •No Guarantee of Employment: The Services are for educational and preparation purposes only. MockExpert does not guarantee that using the Platform will result in a job offer, successful interview outcome, or any career advancement at any company.
  • •AI-Generated Results: All feedback, scores, evaluations, and hiring signals (such as "Hire" or "No Hire") are generated by AI models. These results may not be completely accurate and must not be used as a definitive assessment of your suitability for employment.
  • •Not for Hiring Decisions: AI-generated hiring signals and evaluation reports must not be used by any employer, recruiter, or third party as evidence of interview performance or as a basis for any actual hiring or employment decision.
  • •AI Limitations: AI can produce hallucinations, biased results, or technically incorrect advice. Results may vary between sessions for similar responses.
  • •Subjectivity: Performance reports are based on programmed logic and may not reflect the subjective opinions of human recruiters or specific company cultures.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Intellectual Property

The MockExpert name, logo, and brand identity are protected trademarks of MockExpert. All software, AI agents, proprietary algorithms, source code, website design, interview question database, evaluation rubrics, and logos are the exclusive intellectual property of MockExpert. All rights reserved.

You may not, without our express written permission:

  • ✗Copy, reproduce, or distribute any MockExpert content or code.
  • ✗Use the MockExpert name or logo in any commercial or non-commercial context.
  • ✗Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code or AI model prompts.
  • ✗Use MockExpert content to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning model.
  • ✗Scrape or systematically extract data from the platform.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the data you provide (voice recordings, responses). By using the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and analyse this content solely to provide and improve the Services. Analysis Reports generated for you are for your personal, non-commercial use only.

5. User Conduct and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • ✗Use the Services for any illegal purpose or to solicit others to perform illegal acts.
  • ✗Attempt to jailbreak, reverse-engineer, or extract the underlying training data or prompts of the AI models.
  • ✗Record or distribute mock interview sessions in a way that violates the privacy of others.
  • ✗Input sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, financial records) into the AI interview interface.
  • ✗Share your account credentials with any third party.
  • ✗Use automated tools to access the Service without express permission.

6. Fees, Payments and Refund Policy

Access to certain features requires payment. All fees are displayed in USD and processed securely by Stripe. Prices may be adjusted for local purchasing power in certain regions. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

6.1 Refund Policy and Technical Failures

  • •All purchases are generally non-refundable once processed.
  • •If a technical failure on our platform prevents you from completing an interview session, your exclusive remedy shall be replacement credits to your account, at our discretion.
  • •If the service completely fails to deliver within 7 days of purchase due to a platform-side issue, you may contact us at chitturumyna.mockexpert@gmail.com to request a review.
  • •Remedial credits are limited to a maximum of 3 instances per user account, except where failures are clearly attributable to MockExpert infrastructure.
  • •MockExpert does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service due to dependence on third-party AI, cloud, and payment providers.

7. Data Privacy, PDPA Compliance and Security

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy. In accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA):

  • •We collect only the data necessary to provide the Services, including your name, email, voice recordings, and session data.
  • •You consent to the processing of your audio data for generating interview feedback.
  • •We may use anonymised or aggregated data derived from your interactions to improve our AI models.
  • •Your data is retained for as long as your account is active, or up to 2 years after your last session.
  • •You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting chitturumyna.mockexpert@gmail.com.

8. Force Majeure

MockExpert shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, internet outages, third-party service failures (including Google Cloud, Stripe, or AI provider outages), government actions, or other force majeure events.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MockExpert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or employment opportunities, arising from your use of AI-generated reports or mock interviews. MockExpert's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter by good-faith communication via chitturumyna.mockexpert@gmail.com within 30 days before initiating any formal legal proceedings.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are non-refundable upon termination for breach.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, subject to the dispute resolution process in Section 10.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
